FinTech EAP--FinTech English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

FinTech EAP Project helps 50+ students learn English for Academic Purposes (EAP) skills to process the state-of-art FinTech literature, to prepare them for both industry and academia, as part of the English for Specific Purposes learning processes. Students learn to present their understanding and innovative ideas regarding the applications of FinTech for different scenarios in international English.

EAP and ESP

In general, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is a language program that focuses on helping international and immigrant students acquire the advanced competencies in academic English necessary for them to complete their course essays, undergraduate theses or degree programs.

In general, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a language program that focuses on helping international and immigrant students acquire the advanced competencies in professional English necessary for them to face real-life challenges in professional settings.

What students can learn from FinTech EAP

FinTech EAP Project helps students read, write, and prepare professional presentations. Students read, write and present FinTech knowledge and propose their ideas in both written and oral formats. In addition, timed data story-telling with data visualization graphs, slides and animations equip them with problem-solving desigh thinking skills based on empirical data and case studies.
